THE NAVINSTITUTE

BECAUSE WHY NOT?

Our Esteemed Alumnus: Dr. Navin Maharaj, PhD in 'Smart Stuff'

Dr. Navin Maharaj

The One-Day PhD: A Navinstitute Hallmark

Dr. Navin Maharaj set a formidable standard with his accelerated PhD in 'Smart Stuff'. His journey through our intensive one-day doctoral course redefined rapid academic achievement.

He demonstrated an uncanny ability to nod thoughtfully during lectures, ask vaguely profound questions, and produce a dissertation so compelling in its brevity that the faculty had no choice but to award him his PhD with flying colors.

Dr. Maharaj officially graduated on Thursday, May 8th, 2025. While Emory University (and his sister-in-law Reetu Pathak) were still amidst their lengthy graduation proceedings, Navin was already Dr. Maharaj, a testament to Navinstitute efficiency. His dedication to efficient learning is an inspiration.

The Dynamic Doctoral Duo: The Navinstitute family grew even stronger when Navin's brother-in-law, Dr. Sarat Pathak (brother of Emory's Reetu), strategically decided to earn his PhD *after* Navin. In an unprecedented feat, Dr. Sarat Pathak completed his PhD in a 6-hour overnight course, graduating on the morning of May 9th, 2025 – still managing to outpace Emory! Read about Dr. Sarat Pathak's incredible overnight PhD journey.

While the specifics of his dissertation on 'Smart Stuff' remain a closely guarded secret, its impact is already being felt in circles that appreciate true, unadulterated smartness, efficiently acquired.

We expect great things from Dr. Maharaj, now part of a truly formidable Navinstitute doctoral family!
